MIDTERM REVIEW

Thank you for the great first part of the semester. I am overall very pleased with the class energy and working atmosphere. Our focus will be shifted towards collaboration, both in class and out of the class. I would like you to be ready for sharing research and creative process. We are starting the new set of projects related to image, text and presentation strategies.

November 02 to 23

Project 04 IMAGE AND TEXT - eye to ear editing

Please read the project description following the link above. For this work, you need to find an image loaded with information (traffic, market, street). Deatils of the project will bediscussed in the class.

Project 03 COLOUR MANAGEMENT

October 19 to 26

Apply findings from the previous week to make a 3D colour plan for the next month (November '05). This segment of the project may be compared to a model of labyrinth or playground.

October 12 to 19

Create your own colour theory based on personal affinities and description of emotions, activities other relevant issues. You may use any kind of material and/or tactics. This theory is then used to create/describe your past week. Work on paper includes various photo based techniques and collage.
